Curriculum
The UHM SEED Academy at Kapolei High School provides a curriculum for grades 9-12 based on Hawai`i's Department of Education approved high school curriculum. Twenty-four (24) credits from core and elective subjects are required to graduate. In addition, all UHM SEED Academy students must meet create a Personal Transition Plan to graduate.
The academic year is comprised of four 9-week blocks. Most courses are two 9-week blocks long and receive 1 credit. Courses marked with an asterisk (*) are one 9-week block long and receive 0.5 credit.

STEM electives in science, technology, engineering and math are taken at the Kapolei High School campus, from 2-4PM on weekdays. Classes are hands-on and project-based, designed to better prepare students for success in the 21st century.
