Tour Online Courses

UHM SEED Academy at Kapolei High School's core and elective courses are some of the most engaging and intellectually stimulating online courses available today. Each professionally developed course contains a series of lessons and interactive activities with easy-to-navigate screens, supporting graphics and Flash demonstrations.

Time Needed to Complete an Online Course*:

• One full-credit course, e.g., English I, is designed to span two 9-week blocks and requires 120 hours of study to complete.
• As a general guideline, students should plan on approximately two hours of work a day, 5 days a week for each of their online courses.
• In addition to the time you spend online, you'll need additional time to complete assignments and study for tests and exams.
• Half-credit courses will generally take half as much time as a full-credit course, i.e., one 9-week block or 60 hours.
